Why SurvivorRoom thinks this a great product for patients in radiation therapy:
As a breast cancer patient, the founder of Recovery Skin Relief suffered from intense sensitivity, burns and general discomfort from her radiation treatment. She found that skin sensitivity was shared by others who had skin issues such as eczema, psoriasis and raw irritated skin. Having breast cancer alone was bad enough, but dealing with the itchy, dry, sore skin made the experience even worse. Using the recommended skin cream, a greasy product that pulled the skin when applied and stained both clothing and bedclothes, did nothing to curb the discomfort. So, Recovery Skin Relief's founder set out to find her own solution. The product was developed with her husband and a chemist. Now in remission, the founder continues to spread the word to other cancer patients and those with eczema, psoriasis and skin issues due to diabetes.
