SurvivorRoom Survivor Spotlight presents Rhonda Spinks
Rhonda Spinks was born in Boston, MA and grew up in Trinidad, West Indies. She returned to the United States to attend college in Oklahoma and has remained there. A transformational speaker, coach and author, Rhonda also works for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service as a wildlife biologist and serves as a Captain in the Army National Guard.
Rhonda's most recent challenge was to enter the arena of figure body building. You can see she has been most successful! We are not sure but think perhaps she holds the title of being the only competitor that has a "complete mastectomy with reconstruction" behind her name. Pictures of Rhonda on stage can be viewed in the Celebration Room.
If you want to know more about Rhonda, check out her You Tube channel, "You Call the Shots", and connect with her at www.YouCallTheShots.net. Rhonda’s mission is to inspire others by sharing her story of bouncing back after battling cancer. Rhonda has been cancer free for 5 years and continues to maintain a cheerful, healthy and active life style.
You can also read her story and the stories of thirty-three other survivors of life in The Spirit of Success compiled by Adam Markel and Bill Walsh. Be ready to be inspired to take action and claim the life you were meant to live.
